Some highlights of the meetings from Apr. 8

 

1. Committee Volunteers: Please take the time to sign up as a committee volunteer.  There are many ways to get involved in the program.  Fill out the Volunteer Form (pdf) or Volunteer Form (Word) and send it to Beth Schlaf.

2. New officers elected: Jr. Rep - Susan Parnell, Sophomore Rep. - Laura Hayford, Freshman Rep. - Michell Ellis; Secretary - Beth Schlaf

3. CFPC 2008 Membership:  Sign up Today! Your membership helps pay for equipment, charter buses for the New Albany game, the banquet, etc.  It takes 100% participation to make Castle Football a successful program.  Mail your check and Membership Form to Von Lamey. Form coming soon.

4. Athletic Auction: June 6 Friday at the Casino Aztar $50 each.

              6pm - 7pm Social Hour with a variety of delicious appetizers

              7pm  Auction Begins

           The designated sport gets $10 from each ticket sold.  Plan to attend and enjoy an evening of fun, food, drinks, and socializing.  Bid on items at the auction and help support Castle athletics.  Contact Jennifer Robison, Liz Gilles or Chris Gilkey if you would like to help. Use the Athletic Auction Donation Form if you would like to make a donation

5.           Coach Hurt thanked everyone for the hard effort with the Mulch Sale.

6. Make sure your boys are hitting the weight room.  Spring training is     extremely important.  Also, team unity and bonding starts now.

7. IU Camp: June 8, 9, 10, 11. Sign up today.  The cost is $235. Sign up online or click on the link provided, print the form, and give it to Coach Hurt along with your check.  Print out a copy of the form if you register online.  DO NOT mail the check to IU.  All checks go to Coach Hurt. Registration is due May 22.
